Mountain View Getaway
A personalized retreat in Jackson Hole, blending the warmth of the West with the familiar comfort of home.
Project Description
When long-time Miami clients relocated to Jackson Hole, they sought a new look that reflected the rustic charm of the mountains while maintaining elements of the style they loved back home. Jorge Rosso developed a design scheme that adapted the familiar comforts of their Miami residence to the rugged, seasonal climate of Wyoming, incorporating hard-wearing materials that transition seamlessly between summer and winter.
The stunning setting of the home required thoughtful selections of finishes, materials, and furniture to complement the landscape and create the desired ambiance. To ensure the new home felt personal and lived-in, we carefully curated art, furniture, and accessories from their Miami home, transporting cherished pieces that carried a sense of history and personality. These familiar touches were paired with new additions, creating a collected, layered look that feels both fresh and authentic.
The transformation was so successful that Jackson Hole became the clients’ primary residence, with Miami now serving as a pied-à-terre. The new home reflects their evolving lifestyle, balancing the rustic elegance of the West with the personal touches they hold dear. This project marked a significant chapter in their journey, leading to an ongoing partnership as we continue to design their next spaces together
