In this boutique condominium located in Coconut Grove, the owners sought to modernize their classic apartment while maintaining harmony with the building’s architecture. The goal was to create a flexible, sophisticated space that aligned with their lifestyle and growing collection of art. A complete renovation was undertaken, taking the apartment down to the studs and reconfiguring the layout to meet their specific needs.

Inspired by the efficiency of a boat’s design, every inch of the apartment was maximized for functionality without sacrificing style. Original architectural features were preserved to honor the building’s character, while custom-built furniture was seamlessly integrated to provide sleek, tailored storage solutions. Layers of rich color and luxurious fabric patterns were introduced to create warmth and visual interest.

The kitchen, though compact, was reimagined with multi-functional appliances to optimize the space for gourmet cooking.
